Gough Engineering is able to improve the overall versatility of your Caterpillar Wheel loader by supplying a Fieldchief Hydraulic Quick Coupler and Attachments that will provide minimal down time when changing machine applications.

Gough Engineering has built Wheel Loader Quick Couplers for a number of years with customers benefiting from the versatility that they provide. Generally the decision to fit a coupler starts with a need to run the machine with an attachment other than a standard bucket or where two machines are working on the same site with different attachment such as Bucket Machine and Log Fork machine. Often in the latter situation machine utilization is low, which when the machines are old it can be justified; however when replacement machines are required or the second machine could be used on another site fitting Quick Couplers provides an alternative.

Quick Couplers can be supplied to suit Caterpillar machines from 980G to 914G, as well we are able to build a custom product to suit your requirements.

980G Quick Coupler The 980G coupler can be supplied to suit 980C & F's and can be easily modified to suit a 980G. The 980G can be supplies to suit Oil or Grease type Lift Arms. Attachments that can be supplied include Fieldchief Mill Yard Forks and Bucket options include a 4.8m3 General Purpose bucket and a 12.5m3 Wood Chip bucket which is 4560mm wide or it can be supplied 4000mm wide. Hooks are spaced wide apart, this reduces that stress on the coupler frame and the locking ram is in line with the locking pins eliminating linkages.

950G & 962G Quick Coupler can be supplied to suit 950B,E,F and G's. This Photo shows a Side Shift Carriage and a 950F Quick Coupler.

924Gz Quick Coupler When existing attachments are required to be modified to suit a Quick Coupler we are able to supply custom designed Hooks reducing wastage and fitting time.
