312C Tilt Bucket

New Fieldchief Bucket:  Twin ram 312C Tilt Bucket

Gough Engineering has added to its extensive range of excavators buckets and attachments a twin ram 312C Tilt Bucket. The bucket features designs that will extend the life of the bucket. These include a Caterpillar bolt on edge and replaceable bearings in the main pivot and ram mounts. The main pivot pin and ram mounting pins are all hardened and plated  to extend the life of this parts. Grease nipples are fitted to all moving joints and the main pivot is sealed with o-rings.

An added feature is a reference mark that allows the operator to position the bucket to the desired  angle. The twin rams and hoses are protected by hinged covers that can be easily removed if required to clean or service the rams. 

Flow to the rams is directed by a bolt on manifold block, in the event that a feed hose is snagged or fails only one hose is affected. The bucket can rotated 45 degrees each way to providing 90 degrees of rotation.

The construction of the bucket includes abrasive resistant materials for key components and is also fitted with wear strips. The ram mounts and pivot mounts are line bored after fabrication to ensure correct alignment and provide maximum life of bearings and mounts.
