Custom Design & Build
Gough Engineering Manufactures a wide range of products that support a variety of industries. The main areas of activity are associated with concrete processing, handling equipment, structural steel work and machine assembly. With the strength of our core business in steel fabrication we are able to build similar structures modified to customer requirements, design and build to specifications or use drawings supplied by your designer.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) is used to produce 3D Solid models of products providing excellent visualisation of the product. Existing and new products can be rotated, moved, stretched, weighed until the optimum requirements can be achieved. The advantage of using Gough Engineering for design and build projects is that we are able to draw on the experience of both Gough Engineering staff and Gough Gough & Hamer staff. Design and build Product design can be optimised to suit materials and processes used by Gough Engineering and where the design and manufacture of components are outside of our own capabilities we are able to draw on specialists. All work is carried out by qualified and experienced staff in a well equipped workshop.
The advantage of custom design and build solutions is that modifications to existing products can be planned prior to manufacture and incorporated during manufacture resulting in a product that looks original rather than an add on look. Inquiries for items not listed are welcomed as we may have an existing design or we may be able to design to your specifications. Gough Engineering will also quote to manufacture parts and assemblies using drawings supplied by our customers. Products that we specialise in are medium weight steel fabrication and machining, Hydraulic installation and servicing.
