Contract Engineering

Gough Engineering is able to manufacture steel fabrications using your drawings or converting ideas into reality using Solid Modelling to provide visualisation of a product. We are able to provide a one stop service from design, cutting steel plate, fabrication, painting and assembly. Using .dxf files as well as a number of other formats we are able to provide a contract steel cutting service using our CNC Profile cutter which has a cutting table size of 10 x 3.5 metres using up to 3 LPG fuel cutting heads that can cut up to 200mm plate or one Plasma head cutting up to 25mm thick.

Gough Engineering specialises in building to customers drawings and specifications a wide range of fabrications and structures including installation of electrical and hydraulic componentry. We are able to combine our existing products or modified products to suit your main structures thereby reducing the detail drawings that may be required. Products that we can produced based only on general specifications are, Bins, Hoppers, belt conveyors, screw conveyors, tanks, cyclones, buckets, ducting, silos, mixers, tables, structures, feed elevators to name a few to suit both new and existing installations. We are able to assemble, paint and test before installation. By using our 3D drawing system we are able to accurately place attachment points and plan to avoid interference points. Cable and pipe lengths can be quickly determined for any points within the model.

Gough Engineering is well suited for both jobbing and production work that benefits from good records and planning systems. We are also able to offer Caterpillar components and assemblies that may be used in your structures e.g. engines, drive trains, transmissions, hydraulic rams and most other parts. As well we have direct access to product range supplied by Transport Wholesales Ltd and Transport Specialities Ltd.
